The Northwest Technologies Employee Benefits Program (NWtech) is an employer-governed program that was implemented under the Washington Alliance for Healthcare Insurance Trust (WAHIT) effective December 1, 1999. The Program was specially designed to meet the benefit needs of the Technology Industry. NWtech has arranged group insurance contracts with Premera Blue Cross, LifeWise of Washington, LifeWise Assurance Company and Vision Service Plan  to provide insurance coverage for medical, dental, vision, life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D).
